These boys make me smile :)

Heritage Park

JACE
Jace is an awesome kid! He loves to kayak and is really getting into taking pictures. He loves to cuddle....sometimes! He loves to be adventurous and literally loves to go out on a limb! Even if that limb is over water! These pictures show Jace's personality and his kind heart. Just look at that smile! Doesn't it just melt your heart? He's got a super laugh and loves to make you laugh too! He makes sure to tell you that he's aaaaalmost 11(not for another 2 1/2 months ha ha :)  Jace is the oldest of Mark's boys and he sets a great example for his younger brothers. He is dedicated to school and loves to do well. He loves to go swimming and enjoys the hot tub almost as much as I do! He's my little buddy! I just love him!
Always wanting to go higher and farther!
My Buddy!

He loves to climb on these at the zoo!

My Boys!

 AIDEN

LACES!

Now this kid is such a ham! He is always goofing around! He absolutely loves to be chased! I think it is his most favourite thing! He doesn't like to cuddle so much, but if you are willing to chase him....he's putty in your hands! He's definitely got a mischievous side to him, but he is also very gentle and caring when it comes to watching out for his younger cousins. This kid is always on the go! He doesn't sit still for very long, but he is also very focused when it comes to something he enjoys. He was the only one who stuck around to carve a pumpkin and he enjoyed it very much! But he didn't enjoy getting the guts out......yuuuuck! Sometimes I call him "Laces" cause his laces are ALWAYS untied....but he's 8 and I think that is a right of passage or something.
Now just take a look at that gorgeous red head! What a little ham!
Was just told he couldn't climb...heart broken into a million pieces!
At a Hanuted House in Chapparel with cousin Julia!

LANDON

He loves the Penguins!

Always looking for sticks!
Ok now this little 5 year old is an amazing little 5 year old. He makes you laugh, he makes you melt, he makes you nuts, but then he smiles and the melting is back :) He says "No thank you" if he doesn't want you to do something, but if you say it to him, it's debatable whether he'll stop or not ha ha! He'll hold your hand....sometimes, and he loves to be chased; he is quite the combination of his two older brothers! Sassy and loveable! And how could he not be loveable? Just look at that face! I could just eat him up! His giggle is infectious and he's got awesome sword stick fighting skills! If his older brothers are doing it, he wants to do it too. He is learning lots in Kindergarten and loves going to school. When he starts to whine and ask for something, we tell him to ask with a smile....ha ha whining and smiling is so awesome! Makes me giggle every time! This Tinker is awesome!!!
Our little poser!

Pumpkin Carving!

MARK!
Ha ha how can you not love this?!?

The boys love to play tricks on their dad! Throwing leaves at the Zoo was one of their favourite things! They were dirty leaves, so not so fun for Mark, but the boys LOVED it!!!!

Jace loves to take pictures and took this great one of Mark and I!

Mark loves to be out doing things with the boys, and so do I! I would much rather be out enjoying nature, but we do find great things to do indoors too. We love to go swimming, play board games, or curl up and watch a movie together. These boys are fantastic and we're really growing on each other!

Mountains & MUD!!!!

OK! So August long 2013 I started out early in the a.m. on a long drive from Calgary to Valemont, BC for an event I absolutely love! It's in my blood. My little bro Cody competes in Mud Races every other weekend throughout the summer. I try to get to at least one a year...this year was unforgettable!!!!!!

First part of the trip to Lake Louise was normal, been there, done that.....show me something new, something I've never seen before. Now don't get me wrong, I love my beautiful country. Banff, Lake Louise, BC, the Rockies in general are among the most beautiful places in the world, BUT this journey took me to a part of my country I have only dreamed of seeing. A part of my country so close, it seems ridiculous that I have waited so long for this adventure. COLUMBIA ICE FIELDS!!!!

I have wanted to do this drive for years....literally! It is right here in Alberta and is one of the top ten drives in the world. It was absolutely stunning. A short 5 1/2 hour drive to Valemont and a good 3 hours spent in absolutely beauty I had never seen before.

Seriously! How gorgeous is this?!?!?!?!
So I finally made it to Valemont and after a ridiculously long wait for some mediocre food I made it to the pits! Brother has been racing for a few years now. He bought the Shark from Mike Fisher....who made an appearance and enjoyed a joy ride in his old car.... I volunteered and helped sell 50/50 tickets for the North West Mud Racing Association (NWRMA) - brought back some old memories from my teenage years when we worked the Bogs every summer. We worked (kinda) we bogged, we got muddy, we travelled, we had a blast! So proud of my little bro who's got mud in the blood. Thanks for letting me drive the Shark...next time through the mud ;-) Thanks Brother....you da best!!!

I love Brother and his girl Skyleigh! Love love LOVE~~~~ I had an awesome weekend with them, and Kayla, Dad & Ramona too....Spot it may be lost though :(

Loving Life

I'm a Gemini

Thought I'd try the blogging world out....I'll share memories, daily life happenings and random thoughts!

Top 10 things that make me smile...in no particular order

1) I love kids...don't have any of my own, but I claim all my nieces, nephews and friends kids as mine...you mess with them you MESS with me!!! Kids give me so much joy, their innocence never ceases to amaze me.

2) I'm a reality show junkie....just the good ones of course...BB, Survivor, Amazing Race (US & Canada), Bachelor Nation (I know I know, it's filth), but hey, this is me!

3) I love to SERVE....in church, community, wherever it's needed! I recently volunteered in Calgary & High River helping those affected by the 2013 Alberta Floods, it changed my views on SO many things...may God bless all those affected!

4) I love to cook....ok, ok, some of you may not believe this truth, but true it is! I recently made a chicken burger on a portabella mushroom, instead of a bun....sooooooo yuuuuummy!!!!!!

5) I love my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He helps me through my daily life and supports me in all I do! I know He is there, and I know I am a Daughter of God. I am important to Him and He blesses me daily.

6) Apparently I love cardigans...I recently packed some up and have like 20 :-s ha ha....they are just so handy and cute and cozy and wonderful!!!

7) I love the SUN...I don't know why I live in Calgary, but I appreciate the sun when it decides to let me bask in his warmth!!!!

8) This list wouldn't be complete without mentioning ALADDIN...since childhood I have had a 'minor' obsession with the movie....it's only minor, no big deal, nothing to go crazy about :-o

9) Ice cream sandwiches, fudgicals (that spelling doesn't look right), yogurt pops, chocolate, popsicles, revello, blizzards, parfaits, if it's cold and has chocolate....I'm soooo in on that!!!!

10) YOU!!!! I love you and you usually make me smile ;-)
